Ode to my RayBans
RayBan aviators have been part of wardrobe since high school. Maverick and Magnum both rocked them; I rocked them all the way through my tour of duty in the Marines. And after. Went hang gliding, boating, off-roading, zip lining, running, and chilling. I’ve even included them in my branding as the Adventure VO. My favorite pair is the RB8301, all black. I prefer that one because it has carbon arms that don’t press against my temples but stay snug on my face. Plus I look damn good sportin’ them—if I say so myself! Sadly though, my black aviators have vanished. After countless fun and adventures here and abroad, I think I left them at a restaurant when it started storming a few weeks ago. Went back and asked, of course, but nobody recalls seeing them. the last picture I have of them on my big bald head is the picture I took for #sharkweek Now I’ve got to go see if I can locate a new pair somewhere.
